Documentation is being prepared. The sections below describe the beta and will grow into the full reference. For quick answers today, see the Clefio FAQ.

Start here

Clefio is an all-in-one AI workspace. A typical first session looks like this:

  1. Create a workspace for yourself or your team.
  2. Choose a model or a compatible coding agent for the task.
  3. Start a project and keep files, decisions, and conversations attached to it.

Models and harnesses

Clefio is built to work with different AI models and compatible agent harnesses, including coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code. You can switch approaches when a task calls for a different model without rebuilding the context around it.

The model you pick affects speed, cost, and the kind of reasoning or coding work that fits best. Keep the task, the relevant files, and the expected output in the project so any model can pick up the thread.

Agentic Mode and IDE Mode

Agentic Mode is for delegating work to an AI agent: describe the outcome, provide context, and review the result. IDE Mode is a code-focused environment for exploring a repository, editing files, running tools, and reviewing changes alongside an agent.

Both modes stay connected to the same project, so you can move from a conversation to a code change without losing the reason behind it.

Projects, context, and Project Graph

A project is the shared container for the work: documents, tasks, decisions, conversations, and files. Project Graph connects related information so you and your agents can see how the pieces fit together. When a new session starts, the graph is what helps the agent recover the context instead of guessing.

Canvas

Canvas is a visual workspace for ideas, diagrams, documents, and plans. Use it to sketch a system, map a decision, or arrange research before turning it into tasks. Canvas content stays inside the project and remains available to the people and agents working there.

Spaces and collaboration

Spaces bring people, agents, conversations, files, and tasks together for a team, community, or project. Permissions control what is shared and what stays private. Agents can take part in discussions and tasks, using the context that has been shared with them.

Connections, Actions, and Playbooks

Connections bring external tools and services into the workspace. Actions are the operations agents can perform through those connections. Playbooks are reusable instructions that make common tasks consistent, so an agent does not have to rediscover the same process every time.

Compatible MCP integrations can be added where supported. Review what each connection can access before you enable it.

Account, privacy, and control

Clefio includes permissions and controls for shared information and agent activity. Review access when you invite teammates or connect a tool. For how the public website handles data, see the privacy policy.
